Remember two fallacies. First, Bands as a team effort is a falacy. The truth is that a bands effort does NOT result in an equal outcome and opportunity for the members.  Secondly, The venues DON'T need the arists support.  A musical act without venue remains a musical act. A venue without musical acts quickly deteriorates into something else.

Zip Reqruiter even confirms that a 4 piece band should earn $1000.00 for 3 hours of performing. $225.00 per member is the prescribed rate nation wide. Hawaii, having by far the highest cost of living,we should infer the need to increase this rate. 

As theory and reality often collide on this issue it is often the investment the act has made prior to the engagement in the venue that motivates their suspension of cognitive sensibility. A real band true in their partnership is motivated to lose money performing to see profit in merchandise sales, future engagements and permanent fan base. Venues exploit this religiously.  Every venue needs to meet their bottom line, so they either rent the room and take the bar or exclude third party promoters all together and choose their acts and events in house. 

Drummer Steve Campbell is just a temporary drummer, soon to be replaced, and his pricing reflects just that. 

General Pricing averages $325.00 per engagement or $166.67  per hour. Base guarantees/deposits range from $120.00 - $170.00. Fees relate to distance traveled, time working -  not level of talent.  Be content with that before you purchase service. Deposit is required for private functions not open to the public and engagements off island and deposits remain completely at the discretion of the talent. To contract drummer Steve Campbell - payment is due immediately upon your booking. At the time of the online booking. Payment  due directly after the engagement is specified in the engagement agreement and arranged prior to the engagement.

Hotel Functions: Unfortunately the Resorts' corporate bylaws and  rule book procedures define an individual who does not qualify as a guest nor has a written contract to be on site working as trespassing. I wouldn't want to trespass or arrive uninvited, and my price reflects that. . It is up to the client to make sure that all of the artists  contracted through this website are scheduled and paid in advance for hotel functions. 

In the past , all of this money talk alienated me from the people who never intended on paying. I hope that it continues to work as effectively at prioritizing the paying client more of my time and attention.

$50.00 per hour with the option of a $25.00 thirty minute lesson scheduled once a week for 4 weeks consecutively for the best results.
